    Total Timing-Necessary?

Have completed restoration of my '64 Corvette Coupe with original 327/365hp engine. Entirely rebuilt with pistons, valves, springs, lifters, cam and so forth.

Just timed (static) at 10 BTDC. Runs nicely.

    Question:
Is it necessary to also perform Total Timing?
I don't recall ever doing this in years past, but it has been 43 years since I last tuned this car.
    Input appreciated
