Hi all,

I'm beginning the rebuild on a 327 I got as part of a 1955 GMC purchase. It's a 327 with 461 FI heads.

My question is about the ID stamp on the block: FI105HCH I can't find anything on the FI prefix nor the HCH suffx. The block cast numbers is 3858174 and J275.

The head cast numbers are 3782461 and L65.

Any help in decoding those would be greatly appreciated.
