Help Decoding Engine Codes/Numbers

Hi, I'm wondering if someone could help me decode this small block chevy.

These codes are stamped on the block lip just in front of the driver's side head.

V1210FCU
CFF132797

I'm only able to partially decode this:

V = Flint Engine
1210 = December 10
FCU = unknown engine code? (not found on http://www.1968ss.com/sbcsuffix.asp )
C = ?
FF = ?
132797 = last 6 of VIN (sequence number)

Can anybody help me fill in the ? marks on this?

This engine is currently in a 1983 Pontiac Trans Am, and I know that these numbers aren't correct for that car. I'm just trying to figure out more about the vehicle that this engine cam from. Thank you.

CFF132797 is part of the VIN of the vehicle that the motor came in originally.
The suffix number will have to be de-nuded of paint completely to see the letters correctly. I tried every possible combination using A through Z instead of F. No dice.
At the driver's side rear of the block, there is a casting number. It is just ahead of the connection where the bellhousing matches up with the engine block and is shown as raised numbers on the block itself. Sometimes you have to get in there with a toothbrush and solvent to clean out the crud, then use a mechanic's mirror and a strong flashlight to see the numbers. Start at the firewall and go straight down.
