Engine stamp look up?
I need some help looking up the stamp on the engine. These are from front passenger side behind the alternator. From left to right as follows
131143711 T1211CSA
I've looked on the internet and and have only found a reference to the CSA portion. Possibly being a 400.
Thanks in advance.

Most everyone on here is a mind-reader. All mind readers will think your number is from a small block Chevrolet engine.
If it is, there are three possible CSA installations:
1976 Chev 400ci 175hp 400turbo trans police installation
1975 Impala 400ci 150hp 2bbl carb 400 turbo police installation
1975 Impala 400ci 175hp 4bbl carb 400 turbo police installation

I did post my question under the Chevy small block feed.
Thanks for the info. I've not been able to find anything that specific.

Yep, I didn't see the SBC heading until after I sent the email.....most folks don't pay attention to the headings. It is odd that all three installations are cop cars.

And if it's a stock 400 the harmonic balancer/dampener will look like this.

instead of this

The 400 is externally balanced and all other Gen I small blocks are internally balanced.

T = Tonawanda engine plant
12 = December
11 = 11th day of December
CSA - 1973 or 1976 400CI, 175 horsepower, could have been originally a 2 or 4 barrel carburetor destined for a full size passenger car or a station wagon
The "131143711" is the VIN, i.e.,
1= Chevrolet
