Rear end questions
What do these numbers mean. They are on a 10 bolt.

Those are casting numbers, identifying the foundry location and approximate date that the housing was cast. All of the critical information about your rear gears would be on a sheet metal tag, nominal 1/2" x 3" held in place under one of the bolts securing the gears/cover.Roger

That's true for some rear ends Roger provided you're lucky enough for the tag to still be there.
On a lot of the GM and Mopar rear ends the gear ratio and application data is stamped on one of the axle tubes.....in very small font and usually a PIA to find and read.
