    327 starter and dust cover

I'm looking for a good starter for my 1968 327. It has a 153T flywheel. Would like to find a full size stock looking starter. The powermaster listed on Summit has 2 good reviews. But the same model number on the web has mixed reviews. Anyone have a recommendation?

I'm also looking for an inspection plate.

I like NAPA for these type purchases - like Charlie says - any problems are quickly dealt with on the spot.

NAPA Part #2464859 - w/Solenoid, fits automatic transmission on-line reservation price is $52.72 plus a $22 core. Order it up, take your old one in and skip the core charge and bingo! You're good to go

Thanks cffisher and glennsexton. I will check out napa. I don't have an old one but that's not a problem. Is there a difference in drive-end nose pieces between automatic's and manual? I have a manual transmission.

NAPA shows 2464791 for manual - don't know what the difference is (maybe pitch of the teeth on flywheel versus flexplate?).

I was looking at 1968, 327 Impala but in that generation they're pretty much interchangeable.
