    Engine went bad overnight?!?!?

     



    Yesterday i cranked up my 350 everthing was normal oil pressure good started right up. Went to start it today just to movie it it wouldnt start after a few tries got it to fire and no oil pressure! Wont idle missfires. And backfired through my intake. Sounded horrible. What the fuck litterally changed nothing since it ran fine yesterday.

    Oil pressure doesn't dissapear for no reason

    More likely you suffered an electrical issue which effected your ignition and guage.

    Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

    Occasionally the oil pump can seize breaking the spur that drives the pump inside the distributor's gear, resulting in no oil pressure and often a damaged distributor gear throwing the timing off.
