Chevy 350 in my new 48 buick
Hello all! I just bought a really sweet 1948 buick with lots of custom work. I have a few questions. The owner said it was a four speed automatic with overdrive. What transmission would this most likely be. I'm going to jack it up and get serial numbers tonight.
I found the engine serial # it's 32 Gm 3970010. I'm not sure what the 32 means. He best I can tell its a 69-79 350 and could be a 2 or 4 bolt main. Can you help me determine more! I want to do an oil change right away. I've been told older models need an additive. What oil should I use and additive? I was told it has a mild cam and an edelbroch performance intake. Thanks for the help
The Australians have finally discovered the origin of the word 'Vegan.' Apparently it's an old Aboriginal word for 'Bad Hunter.'
