    You're talking about your rocker arm studs, and not the studs in the block for bolting the heads in place, correct? And we're talking screw in rocker arm studs, not press-in, correct? Your 3/8" stud should measure 0.3750" below the threads, and your major diameter will likely fall between 0.3737" and 0.3750". Just to clarify, this is the engine that you told us about here, right??     It's just a suggestion, but in my experience you'll get more relevant replies if you continue the discussion on a specific question in one thread instead of starting new threads for every new idea that you have about what might be the problem. The response from Hurst01 immediately above is a perfect example, asking what engine we're discussing here.
