Are you certain you had #1 on TDC when you installed the distributor? A quick check is to turn the engine by hand to TDC on #1 cylinder, pull the distributor cap and see if the rotor is pointing at #1 plug wire...Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
