My biggest question is will these work together, and create a strong engine, or will this raise my compression to level that will not function properly?

You'll be fine. it will be 9.0 to 9.5/1 compression DEPENDING on the head gasket you use. Cheap gas may cause some pinging.. if you notice it, add some premium to the mix.. but I doubt you will have a problem if you have the timing set right.
Have built a lot of street motors with similar combinations. you should have an honest 300 Hp or a little better when your done. Pretty decent combination of parts.
