Hey folks, I have a 5.7 small block and I ran out of gas, upon trying to get it started to at least get out of traffic the engine backfired loudly and I had to push it. I put 3 gals of gas in, and a small amount in the carb...no start. Tried everything I could think of and ended up towing it home. I learned that I was getting fuel but no spark, I replaced the cap and rotor after realizing they were toast, still no start, replaced the ignition module and still nothing any ideas?
