Main bearing questions.
I am rebuilding a 350 and noticed the numbers on my main bearings and thrust bearing have the following numbers:
Mains - 18019643 - 0.0006
Thrust - GM-A-400 - 0.001
I have shopped for new bearings but could not find any with those sizes can i just use STD main and thrust bearings or have to buy a STD set and an .001 set to make it work? I dont want to have to take crank in to get mechined due to finances. thanks in advance for the help.

It would probably be best to mic the main journals and see what bearings will be correct for oil clearance....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Don't know right off hand, lots of sites with GM engine specs, might want to do a Google search. I'm sure the measurement would be easy to find.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
