Justing, I suggest that you go to the GMPP web catalog and look at the offerings from GM. I am NOT suggesting you buy a GM crate motor but their lineup has a great listing of different horsepower engines....and they are designed to be reliable. The web catalog lists the specs so, if you decide to buy or build an engine, you have some guideline regarding what it will take to achieve the desired output.
