Slade,
Was your Dad's trying to suck through an OEM pump in the tank? Get that POS in-tank pump out of there first, then see if the system works OK. If it will pump strong maybe it's OK - see how long it takes to put a couple of gallons in a bucket. Not trying to bust your chops here, but it seems you keep coming back with the same problems time & time again?Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Yes. and thats my plan. Ik the pump pumps really strong because i used it to get some gas out of my car for a buddy who ran outta gas on the side of the road once. but there is a old pump in the tank and has been in there for years. Im just not exactly sure how to by pass it .
And i dont consider anything you guys have to say as "busting my chops" I like to here what yall have to say about it and learning different ways to do things than my family does or i wouldnt bother asking ?
lol
