I recently picked up a 64 283 punched .060 mains and rods .010 1970 307 heads that have been rebuilt mild cam and it has an old holly 4bbl on it the only numbers i can find on it are on the secondary butterfly it sais 487 it looks like a small carb just wondering about a possible rebuild kit or if i should just toss it and get a new eddlebrock never been much of a holly person but if it will work i am good with it. thank for any info
It should have some numbers on the choke tower....It will say "List xxxxx". Can you put up a picture of the carb? That will help with identifying it.
I looked again no numbers exept the ones i put strange

Don't remember what Holley called that carb, but there was a lot of reasons they quit making it---none of them good!!!! Think it was called an Economizer or something like that, anyway IMO they were junk. I say get a 600 Edelbrock and set that Holley on a fence post next time you want to do some target shooting!!!!
Neat old Nash and it looks like you have a really 1st rate assistant for the build!!!!!
You would be wasting good ammunition doing that a better use, garbage can ballast .
