I've had the alternator taking out and checked, the battery taking out and recharged and tested under a load, both are new the battery is 5 months old and alternator is two weeks old.
Ive changed the negative battery cable, i know there is a fuseable link that connects the back of the alternator to the starter back up to the battery positive terminal. i took that out and just put in a wire straight from that to the battery terminal itself, because i thought i blew the inline fuse. its a 3 wire, internal regulator alternator. im not seeing a fuse in the fuse box for it, or an "idiot light" like ive read. I may be wrong,, I'm just frustrated because I need this vehicle for work and do a lot of back and forth driving, (I'm in the military and sometimes they get confused as to where we should be). I do not want to take it to a mechanic because I'm tired of pouring money into it that way and this should be an easy job, but if someone can help me out who knows what they are doing! Please help!!
