You never have to bleed these systems. May be the theft control as Jerry refered to. but more than likely if it will run with your foot on the throttle it will be a gummed up idle control (I.A.C.) they do that because the seat is gummed up and it can't re home it self. Remove it from the throttle body (don't loose the o-ring) use carburetor cleaner and clean the pintle up then use carb clean and an old toothbrush to clean the seat in the throttle body. Put it back together and you should be good to go. It may take a minute of stumbling to clear the carb clean out,when she smooths out see if it will now idle. If it will drop it in gear and let it re learn the idle.
