350 Balancer/internal/external?????
I'm still hanging around reading and learning so I want to thank all of y'all for some great info i have soaked up.
But now I have a new question.
I have been looking at crank kits for my 88 1pc seal block.
Heres my question: Are all OEM 350 NOT internaly balanced? My 88 block IS internaly balanced is it not?
Do i need to rethink something here?

the dampers are the same so the front of the crank is internal but on the one pc seal cranks have to be external in the back of crank from lack of weight thats needs to be on the flywheel older350 two pc crank engines were internalLast edited by pat mccarthy; 10-02-2010 at 09:09 PM.

Another question, I was told this engine takes 6 quarts of oil. Is that correct? It's a remanufactured 350 with stock pan.
