Interesting post -
The 2006 Z06 was probably the best Corvette ever built. The LS7 is certainly one heck of a small block and definitely the most technologically-advanced small-block ever built with 505 horsepower and 470 ft/lbs torque, a 7,000 RPM red line. dry sump oiler, titanium rods, etc., etc., etc..
It weighs in at 3130 (sans driver and fuel) and with a professional driver on tires that cost a grand a piece it runs a 3.5 second 0-60 time (in first gear) and a 11.5 quarter mile at 127 miles per hour.
You can buy an LS7 crate motor (GM part number 17802397) for $14,195, plus shipping.
Maybe GM should call DeRock25 and have him come to work for them as he's able to get better performance than GM factory for a lot less money, eh? Just sayin..."Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty." John Basil Barnhil
