I ask a question about nitrous a while back for a big block and got a
ton of feedback..Search nitrous by rdobbs and you will find it....I
had it on my 383, and have it on my 496 but to be honest with you
I never felt it necessary to hit the button....I do have a separate
pump and line regulator, guage, etc. I would not want to run it off
the same line as your regular fuel line....My builder was right when
he said if you find time to hit the nitrous button on the 496 blown
with stick shift, give him a call....I haven't called him yet about
    hitting that button.

I'm still trying to get an answer as to the why of that?
