Get different heads or???
Hi,
New guy here, but this looks like the place for good answers!
Just picked up a '74 350 4 bolt that hasn't ever been bored, planning on doing a .30 over and putting it back together. Problem is it has 76cc heads (my luck), I was hoping for more compression and still run on pump gas. So my question is should I go look for different heads or can I deck the block or mill the heads to get the compression up??? I'm putting it into a 91 c15 Jimmy, I'm looking for low end power, that's sort of a hot rod isn't it
Looking for suggestions...

Easiest way and cost efficent way would be to get a set of rebuilt 64cc heads. Flat top pistions may work but u may need ones with a dish to run on pump gas.You don't know what you've got til it's gone

Thanks guys! It's been a long road. Fun doing finishing work for sure. Getting the dash ready for paint and some interior trim. Have to do some finish work on the aluminum headliner before...
