alright i'm new here and need some insight. I don't need the 305 is a junk engine mumbo jumbo, i've heard it... its the only engine I've got and have had it since it was brand new in 86! It has only 87,000 miles. I need to know what the best build would be. I've read that vortec heads and intake really wake it up with a nice cam. (need help determining what cam is best. I like the choppy idle but want good performance) self-aligning rockers for the heads as well. What else is a good idea?
