Changing cranks
Can anyone tell me what ci I would have if I put a 327 crank in a 400 sb bored out .030 ? And how many ci would be added by the block being bored out ? Thanks, Glen

bore x bore x .7854 x stroke x # cylinders = cu. in.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

guf33 Rember if youput a 327 crank in a stock 400, you will have a 352 stroker which you can rev up to unbelieveable RPM's. If you want to go to a 377 stroker, bore the 400 out .030 like you suggested and go with a 350 crank.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!
