Whatever the market will bear.
I will start the bidding at $4.53
There was one on our local Craigslist a few weeks ago; 67 327 4 BBL from an Impala wagon in good running condition for $300.
I think you probably mean 3932386 – which could be a 1969 302 (4 bolt), ’69 327 of a ’69 350 (2 or 4 bolt).
If it’s the 302 motor, it could be worth a lot depending on the completeness and overall condition.
A complete and running (stock) 1969 327 is probably worth a couple hundred. A complete and running (stock) 350, 4 bolt main is worth up to 500. A ’69 350, 2 bolt is probably worth a couple hundred, again if complete and running. Incomplete or not running you need to be very careful or you may be paying someone to haul away scrap iron.
Several years ago I bought six, 350 motors in various states of completeness for 250 bucks. I wouldn’t have paid that for them except the guy gave me a box of carbs – including a couple decent 850 Qjets. One of the blocks was seized (broken water jacket), one had a spun main (fixable), one had been bored .60 over already and was real tired, etc. At the end of the day, after several hot tank bills and some exploratory work, I was able to build two of the blocks but decided that this was a lot of work..
thank you for all your replies, general consensus i am seeing is, just throw it out to the market and see who bites at it.
The value is depend on how much the cylinder wore and if been bore so forth on.
