i have some TRW pistons # L2417 .030 and i was wondering the dish volume and piston to wall clearances and if they are good pistons to use for high rpm
Also does Probe or Speed pro make forged pistons for A 377 stroker?

L2417 flat top pistons with a 3.5 cc trough. Use 0.004" piston to wall clearance measured at the pin centerline. Forged high-performance pistons suitable for beating on.
Choose your combustion chamber size across the top and see the static compression ratio of these pistons under the chamber number....

Would I use 400 rods in a 377? No, but couldn't find TRW forged using a longer rod.
How much will them Forged Pistons Grow when They Warm Up ?

Do you think .007" is useable? pistons are like new but block was reringed.

Pat, here's the source of the 0.004" piston to wall on the L2417. I was trying to help the OP because he apparently had no specs with the pistons and didn't know whether to put them in at 0.001" or 0.008" or what??????
