I'd suggest Royal Purple break-in oil, changed after the first 30 minute run-in, then changed again after 500 miles. Then I'd go with Mobil 1 after the break in. I've used Mobil 1 on street, street-strip, and all out race engines ever since it came out in the late 70's.... On the street, I change the filter and add a quart every 3,000 miles, change it all at 12,000 miles. On the strip, we run the same oil all summer, change (and cut open and inspect) the oil filter every week..... Oh yeah, for racing I use the 15W50.
