How necessary is the flexplate dustcover on a 350 w/700R4 tranny? It's a new crate I've had for 2 yrs while I have been building my truck (51 chevy) won't be too much longer and I'll fire it up. The only place I've found them is at the local chevy dealer parts dept. They aren't cheap and if I don't need it...
