If these are GM part number 12464298, you have the following:
“Aluminum Fast Burn Cylinder Head Assembly”
They’re CNC-machined aluminum cylinder heads from GM Performance. They will fit all small blocks (283 – 400) made between 1958 – 2000. I hope that they are “stock” as there is no performance to be gained from any porting/polishing activity and in the hands of less than an expert; any work will actually degrade the performance. They also will have the GM and flaf logo on the ends (see below).
They're drilled and tapped for early and Vortec manifolds and you can use flange-mount or center bolt-style valve cover. Reports say that these heads, with cam #12370847 (Hydraulic Roller Cam - 234/242 duration - 539/558" lift), intake #12496822 (Vortec Eliminator) with a 750 cfm carb on a 383 produce 500 plus horsepower.
They’re pretty much a bolt-on head. No muss-no fuss. Should be a good set for just about any small block (except 305).
Have Fun,
Glenn
