The best thing to do is to dump those heads. Economically, the best head choice would be a set of Vortecs, but that would also mean you would have to sell your intake and get the Vortec compatible intake. They would raise your compression and they breathe better than the old double hump heads. I agree with Tango about the choice of cam, but another good choice would be the Lunati Voodoo #60103. Either of these two cams would work well with your stall converter and your rear gears. If you have the scratch, get a set of AFR 180 aluminum heads and then hold on for dear life!

I dont mind running 91 octane, because I already run 93 in it. I already have the double humps, so I will probably run them for right now. And the cams you guys listed don't come with lifters, so what types of lifters will I need when doing the cam swap. is it safe to reuse the ones that i already have? My existing cam and lifters have less than 30 miles on them. How much hp do you think those would bring me up to?
