    Whic his better for a 383 Stroker or 355 a SBC longblock or shortblock

    I think a longblock will run better. Definately more compression.

    falcon, Man I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes after reading that brief and to the point answer above. Isnt it remarkable what bolting on a set of heads to a short block does for compression. Too cool man Too cool!!

    Short block is going to get better MPG, 'specially on the downhills.....

    i like any thing i do not have to push and i am to old to run i use bbc for pushing and if i only have to run fast

    Yea Dave you can that is if your Chain is strong enough. Here's one we got loaded in the "Short to Long Block Strecther Fixture" just gettin ready to bolt up a Boss 302 short block and make a real motor out if it.
