Over the summer I swapped the tired 283 powerglide out of my 51 Ford for a 350/350. I got an elctric fuel pump amd finally got everything hooked up. We cranked it and it backfired. Turn the distributor still backfired. Them got it about right. It sounds pretty good through open headers. I am hoping to get it drivable before May so I can drive it to school.
