No, the electric pump will provide all the pressure and volume you need. Run minimum 3/8" supply and return lines with a good pressure regulator mounted in the return line. Set the pressure with the motor running to 5 psi. There is no way that any current carburetor needs more than 5 psi if there is a good sized line to provide volume. Any pressure over that will, depending on the ability of the needle and seat to control pressure, overpower the needle and seat and result in an over-rich, hard-to-tune condition.
