Blower and Mechanical Fuel Pump
I am going to have the shop build my first, blower 383. This whole engine will be built around "street driving" so compression, cam, carbs etc will be adjusted for the street.
My question to you guys- The shop is really wanting me to use an electric fuel pump opposed to mechanical! I am not crazy about this. Is anyone running a blower with a mechanical pump and has experience? Again, this is a street driven car.
I have a tunnel ram with (2) Edelbrock 500 cfm carbs on my mildley built 350, Performer RPM Heads and cam package on it now that I am driving on the street and it runs GREAT with my mechanical pump!
Looking for some feedback.

time for a new forum to visit. when they sold sr.com it went down hill fast. no more forum just a cheap site selling junkie cars. the canadians killed hr.com. mods are real pricks. as with any site...
Where is everybody?
