I have a GMPP 385 fastburn engine w/hot cam kit and want to go to Fuel Injection. What would be the best FI setup for this motor. I have thought about the Ram Jet from GMPP (having a chip burned for it), but I have heard that a system like the Mass-Flo w/the mass air flow sensor is better. Does anyone have any experience with either of these products on a SBC?? Or have any other recommendations???

I just installed a mass-flo injection on a 290 hp gm crate 350 engine. Installation was simple and straight forward. It fired up the first try and after setting base timing and idle speed it hasn't given any problem. I like the sequential firing injection. The throttle response and lack of hesitation (as with the carb) make it very reliable and fun to drive. The MAF system is a lot more forgiving than the speed density. The computer is tuned for your application and the injectors are sized for your expected HP.
I installed it in a 1929 Essex coupe.
I'm very satisfied with the system and would recommend it to anyone.
It's basically a Ford system custom modified to fit on just about any engine.
