? on valve train
I have a set of heads (alumn.) that I plan to run a high lift roller cam and I have another set of heads(iron) that are set up for a .480 lift hydraulic cam. The aluminum heads that I bought have very cheap parts and I wanted to see what are the chances of switching valve train parts on the heads. Would the roller cam call for longer studs and valves?

it could need longer valves and studs this would have alot to do with your spring setup height and you allways want a have good set of valves for a roller cam not all heads take the same length valves you can go up or down on setup heigth with keepers and retainers
