    Lifter destroyed! whats the cause? Pics.

     



    I was bending and breaking push rods on the same cylinder as this lifter was on #2, the lifter under the push rod that was breaking was fine. The beat up lifter collapses really easy, so I took it out. Check out the pic and see what you think. Also do you think this wiped out the lobe on the cam shaft?
