I have a 283 with straight dual exhaust.
The motor sounds and runs fine.
But I have noticed the passenger side exhaust has some 'suck back'.
The driver's side doesn't.
What causes that???

Used to be a old car buyers trick ,was to take a shop rag and hold it over the exaust ,if the rag gets sucked up the exaust and spit back out ,the valves are bad or out of adjustment. Most 0f the time its a burnt valve.
Dual exaust makes it more easily determined which side has the bad or mis adjusted valve.
Or maybe you just need to fire the rythm section on that bank. After all, if the group can't hang together, it needs some tweaking!....HHHmmmmmm:rolleyes:   Seriously, go with the good advice above.
