327 w/ blower
hello I am currently in the process of stripping down my 68' chevelle for a frame off resto and am thinkin bout rebuilding the 327 that is in there. I do not know a whole lot about it and browsed over some of the other posts on 327's i know that it has the double hump heads. I also want to put a blower on it maybe a pro-street 177 weiand blower. I also am thinking about the trw blower slugs, lunati cam matched to the blower. I read up on blowers from weiand/holleys page and know that i need the right compression, ignition, big enough carb round 700, correct me if i'm wrong cuase i do not know a lot about engines but i'm just starting to gather this stuff. I also know i need at least a 2 1/2 dual exhaust with headers that have 3" inch collectors. Plz help me out here and brainstorm all of the stuff that i will need to prep the block with to match it to the blower! thanks all advice is greatly appreciated!
Dammit, another good ol boy gone. Condolence to the family. RIP Mike
