SB Chevy rebuild
First time to this forum, and would love to pick you guys brains.
I have a 69 Chevelle with a "tired" 350 that I want to replace/rebuild. The engine has 150k miles, leaks out of every gasket, and overheats to the point of running rough, so mating surfaces are probably warped beyong repair.
I am looking at getting a shortblock, and the Edelbrock EDL-2098 top end. Has anybody used this? Do anybody have a suggestions for a good daily driver?
I have spent a lot of time restoring this car. It looks good, and now I need an engine that will make it a good daily driver. Any suggestions?

jl there are alot of good remanufactured short blocks out there at a decent price . One thing is they allready did the work of checking specs . The rebuild should give you alot of miles of good running time .

You could always check into Edelbrock's crate engines.
