HI ALL! GOT A QUESTION ABOUT COMBUSTION CHAMBER SIZE.I WAS AT THE TRACK TRYING A NEW TRANS WITH THE SHIFTER ON THE TREE.WELL I HIT SECOND,HIT A BUMP,JUMPED BACK INTO LOW AND BENT A CONN ROD I JUST PICKED UP A 383 STROKER TO REPLACE MY OTHER ENGINE.THIS NEW ENGINE HAS WORLD S\R 2.02, 1.60 VALVES,170cc INTAKE RUNNERS AND 76cc COMBUSTION CHAMBERS.OH,1.25 SPRINGS ALSO.I WAS WANTING TO PUT THE HEADS OFF MY BROKEN 350 ON THIS STROKER.THE OTHER HEADS HAVE THE SAME SIZE VALVES,1.47 SPRINGS,200cc INTAKE RUNNERS AND 64cc COMBUSTION CHAMBERS. MY QUESTION AROSE WHEN I SAW THE 83 HAS DOME PISTONS.WILL GOING DOWN IN CHAMBER SIZE SHROUD THE VALVES OR HURT FLOW AND PERFORMANCE,OR WILL THE COMPRESSION INCREASE AND THE OTHER BIGGER SPECS ON THE 64cc ALUMINUM HEADS BE A BETTER USE AND TAKE ME THE RIGHT WAY?
