I generally buy the Taylor 8 cylinder Spiro Pro universals - because I do like to route them the way I want. To answer your question, you will have to purchase new distributor ends, pull off the existing boots, cut to length, crimp on the replacement ends and reinstall.
Easy way to do:
1 - Figure out the length you want and cut.
2 - Measure about a 1/2" back, then remove the insulation to the core, being careful not to cut into that core.
3 - Fold the inner core back over the top of the insulation, put the terminal connector on it, then crimp in place
4 - You should have the boot in place first, before you crimp on the new terminal. a bit of WD-40 or silicone helps
