    lifters

     



    im puting a neew cam in my motor but the lifters only have about 500 miles on them can i use them over or do i have to get new ones.

    Roller-yes

    If they're rollers, no worries. If they're flat tappet, I wouldn't do it. Lifters are cheap compared to the alternative.

    If you are reusing the cam, Keep the lifters on the same lobes as you have it organized in your pic. Keep it clean and lube them very well with a good recommended lube.

    Don't put used lifters on a new cam. Even 500 miles will seat the lifters to that cam, they might or might not wear out fast on the new one. Not worth all the work of replacing the whole works a few weeks down the road.

    I live in so cal and I see the chevies everyday going down the road,.....most of them have major suspention damage. .... ...heres a pic,see for yourself.... even the one in the back ground is starting to have the same problems...

    them would be the type of guys that would shot you for sure well you do not see any fords doing that ???there front ends can not take any of that

    fox front ends are junk i have seen that car it runs a chevy big block in it

    No need to leave mopar out of this ,..... seriously ,look at the kids they hired as engineers, I caught a pic of one of them on there way to work the other day..........
