Fuel is pouring out of secondarys! What's wrong???
......wow, just when I get one thing settled something else comes up!
..... Anyway, after I shut my engine off I looked in the carb & fuel is pouring out of the secondary's {the back two barrels}. It runs out for about 10 seconds or so & then stops! Any ideas on what's wrong??? THANKS Everyone, Bill

I find that happens quite often if the spark plugs are too short

If that isn't it, it will be the rubber O ring that seals the needle and seat assembly.

Just under the adjustment screw on top of the secondary fuel bowl. It's a disease called Holleyitis.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Well, the needle will have a small v shaped neoprene on it, and the seat will hopefully be a circle that the needle will go into. Take the secondary bowl off, raise the float up and blow into the fuel inlet. It should not allow air through with the needle seated. Doesn't take a very big piece of dirt to make one of these little boogers stick!!!! Check it close. At my age and deteriorated vision a magnifying glass is essential!!!!!!

you will have to adjust the float level again. You want the fuel just at the bottom of the sight bowl. Fuel level is adjusted with the screw and nut assembly at the top of the float bowl. Yup, same thing as the needle and seat....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
