    Yes,direct measurements are the only safe way to find out because some decks are out of square and just doing the calculation on paper may be off quite a bit.
    Do a mock up with the 4 corner pistons in and check at the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions (FRONT/REAR).
    Somewhere around 10.5:1 sounds about right but that could be a wild guess that turns out to be a .010-.020 mistake.
