400 SBC .060 over
This may sound slightly dumb lol. But Is a 400 .060 over a 406? what determines how much more cubes it is when bored. thanks

No, a 400 0.060"-over is a 413. A 0.030"-over is a 406 and a 0.040"-over is a 408.
The formula is .7854 times bore times bore times stroke times number of cylinders.
.7854 times 4.185" times 4.185" times 3.750" times 8 equals 413.
