Are they flat tappet or roller?
Flat tappet-no
Roller-yes
If they're rollers, no worries. If they're flat tappet, I wouldn't do it. Lifters are cheap compared to the alternative.
I made this box to keep my lifters organized.
If you are reusing the cam, Keep the lifters on the same lobes as you have it organized in your pic. Keep it clean and lube them very well with a good recommended lube.
Don't put used lifters on a new cam. Even 500 miles will seat the lifters to that cam, they might or might not wear out fast on the new one. Not worth all the work of replacing the whole works a few weeks down the road.
I see Denny's feeling a bit ornery today..........LOL.

Got A Question How Are Engle Cams?
Engle Cams are good. Some profiles are quite snappy and 99% of the time you can't go wrong. My personal opinion is they don't advertise and sponsor like they used to years ago so they're not as popularly known like Comp, Isky, Crane, Etc. I have a customer with a '69 SS Camero, 355, 4 spd and his Engle is a bit small for what you'd think he oughta run. That thing is surprising.
Darn! I can't jump on any of you guy's side. :HMMM:
I have a ford with a chrysler motor, chevy tranny.
A Ford with a Buick motor, soon to be a Chevy motor.
A Ford with a Ford motor.
A Chevy with a Chevy motor.
A Trike with a ACVW motor.
Just sold my International with a Mopar motor.
 But wait! I'm a Chevy guy!
Pat
Pat, isn't that kinda like an AMC. A little bit here, a little bit there.......LOL. Just giving you a hard time.
