each bore has been stamped ( 10,9,11,) at oil pan flange on the block. These stampings match markings in the pistons whick look to be machined. Was this done at the factory. I'm just starting to build back a stock 307 71' for my converted jeep.

Dont quite follow you with the stamping sequence 10,9, 11, need more info.

each boreis stamped with a different # Two are stamped with a 9, four have a 10, and two are stamped with a 11. Stamp at top of piston matches bore stamp.
