Fuel Efficient Super Charging?
Heres what I got...
1968 Chevy C10, 350, .030 over, 881? Casting heads, flat tops, Comp Cams 292H, Demon 850, Weind 144 Blower
I was towing my Jeep home and the water pump belt broke. I was on a fast moving highway with nowhere to pull off. Temp went to 260 degrees, I couldn't stop pinging and popping like crazy. Next day, wristpin is slapping. So I need a new motor.
Income tax is coming soon and I was messing with the idea of TBI. Think I could find, build and drop in a 350TBI and get low teens gas mileage and still be supercharged? Even 11/12MPG will be fine. But the more the merrier.
No clue on building a supercharged TBI motor, like inject work, sensors... I've had no problems with my carb'd motor but this fuel injection stuff is new to me.
Help Please...
I had to go to the doctor's this morning. He told me that my sugar was too high so I came home and put it on a lower shelf. I feel better already.
