Break up the torque on the heads. Like if it is 65lbs, do it in three steps. First time around, 30 lbs. Second time around, 50 lbs. Third time, 65 lbs. Let it set a few minutes, and recheck torque at 65 lbs, or as specified by the heads you are using, and the gasket manufacturer's procedure.
I think I asked the question wrong. I need to know about the rocker lash. I think it calls for zero lash, but i need to know a good starting point on adjusting the rocker arms before I start the engine. Thanks for all your help on this! BM75862
